SUMMARY:Practice Management Considerations of an Orofacial Pain/Dental Sleep Medicine Practice
DESCRIPTION:This course reviews patient clinical charting information and type of charting typically needed for medical billing for office visits and TMD/MAD treatments. The review will include examples of medical EMR software\, supplies used for TMD/MAD treatments and examples of suppliers for TMD/MAD treatments. An example of a superbill used in a dedicated orofacial pain practice will be discussed. This course will include the necessary components for charting the different levels of office visits as well as documentation recommendations for procedures such as joint injections and MAD therapy.
