Dr. Grover was born at Community Hospital and is a life-long resident of Monterey County. He graduated from medical school at University of California\, Los Angeles as one of the top three students in his class. Dr. Grover completed his residency at Stanford in Emergency Medicine and was chief resident. DESCRIPTION:Training on how to prevent workplace harassment is now mandatory for almost all California employers (five or more employees)\, and California Employers Association is here to help with Harassment Prevention Training that meets California’s legal requirement. \n\n\n\nThis course is a 2-hour instructor-led session where employees will engage in discussions on all forms of sexual harassment (verbal\, visual\, and physical). Other types of prohibited harassment\, discrimination\, retaliation\, and abusive conduct will also be covered in an interactive format. \n\n\n\nSupervisors will learn how to recognize problems and about their responsibility in the prevention of sexual harassment\, discrimination\, retaliation\, and abusive conduct. Topics include reporting\, bystander intervention\, investigating and resolving complaints\, parameters of confidentiality\, and practical tips on how to stay out of trouble and keep your workplace harassment-free. \n\n\n\nIn the past\, only California employers with 50 or more employees were required to provide sexual harassment prevention training—and only to supervisors. Effective 1/1/19\, SB1343 requires all California employers with five (5) or more employees to provide harassment prevention training.

Other types of prohibited harassment\, discrimination\, retaliation\, and abusive conduct will also be covered in an interactive format. Supervisors will learn how to recognize problems and about their responsibility in the prevention of sexual harassment\, discrimination\, retaliation\, and abusive conduct.  \n\n\n\nTopics include reporting\, bystander intervention\, investigating and resolving complaints\, parameters of confidentiality\, and practical tips on how to stay out of trouble and keep your workplace harassment-free. \n\n\n\nIn the past\, only California employers with 50 or more employees were required to provide sexual harassment prevention training—and only to supervisors. Effective 1/1/19\, SB1343 requires all California employers with five (5) or more employees to provide harassment prevention training.

In response to the increase in violent incidents\, California passed legislation that requires employers\, (including dental and specialty practices)\, to adopt a workplace violence prevention plan. \n\n\n\nHarbor Dental Society is here to deliver all valued members a timely ‘live’ CE Webinar to comply with this new California law to help educate you and your dental team with a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan following best practices for the dental practice. \n\n\n\nOn July 1\, 2024\, dental and specialty practices in California must implement a written workplace violence prevention plan. The plan must include specific criteria such as response procedures to specified threats (e.g. shelter in place or evacuation)\, trainings\, annual updates\, etc.
