Smaller practices in ambulatory settings, such as dental and specialty practices, incur unique risks given limitations in infrastructure and funding. In response to the increase in violent incidents, California passed legislation that requires employers, (including dental and specialty practices), to adopt a workplace violence prevention plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Harbor Dental Society&nbsp;is here to deliver all valued members a timely &#8216;live&#8217; CE Webinar to comply with this new California law<\/strong>&nbsp;to help educate you and your dental team with a Workplace Violence Prevention Plan following best practices for the dental practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On July 1, 2024, dental and specialty practices in California must implement a written workplace violence prevention plan.&nbsp;<\/strong>The plan must include specific criteria such as response procedures to specified threats (e.g. shelter in place
